Join Springville High School’s most decorated and successful group, The Mighty Band from Tiger Land! Rich with tradition and having a long-standing history of excellence, The Mighty Band from Tiger Land is the pride of Springville! This page is dedicated to help both new & returning members understand everything they need to complete to be registered and ready for the upcoming school year. Please follow the step-by-step instructions to complete everything necessary. Be sure to look around the website to answer all of your questions.

STEP 1:   Explore the website www.springvillebands.org and read the handbook (or you can find it by clicking on SHS Band Documents on the top left of the page)

STEP 2:   If you were unable to attend the spring kickoff meeting on May 20, 2024, please take a look at the PowerPoint that Mr. Gammon went over at the kickoff meeting. Please complete the Musician’s Contract, Springville Tiger Band Student Information Form 2024-2025, and Parent Volunteer Form.

STEP 3:   Pay the $100 Deposit by May 24, 2024 – www.springvillebands.org/payment/ 

STEP 4: Visit the BSN Store and place orders before June 4, 2024 (the store will close so orders must be placed before then). ** Students will need at a MINIMUM the purple band shirt, band shorts, and drawstring bag. Other items are optional but encouraged as these are limited time purchases. The polos, 1/4 zips, and jackets will have the new band logo on them.**

STEP 5:   Get a Sports Physical for your child and complete the Health & Travel Form. If your band student has a current physical from a sport, as long as it is current, it can be pulled over to the band.

STEP 6: Be sure you complete the background check – information can be found here.

STEP 7:   Practice and condition over summer

STEP 8:   Purchase required Band Camp Gear 

  • Large water source-CamelBak style backpacks or running belts with water bottle holders are best.
  • Lanyard

STEP 9:   Attend Band Camp

STEP 10:   Pay remaining band fees by the end of Band Camp
