| Rusty Starnes, President I have a son – Christian – who was involved in the band since his 7th grade year. Christian is a percussionist and graduated from SHS in 2024. My youngest son – Caleb – is a freshman in the band this year and has been involved in the band since his 6th grade year. He was a march-up last year and is a percussionist this year. My wife – Charlie – and I have been involved in the band boosters for 5 years now and we look forward to serving for the next 4 years. We moved from Argo to Springville in 2012 and we love this little town and the friends that we have made here. I am a commander with a large law enforcement agency and Charlie works for a large financial firm. We have been truly blessed by the friendships and memories that we have made through the band boosters, and hope to continue to make many more over the next few years. | Todd Ludwig, Executive Vice President I have two kids in the band – Alec and Ben. For the 2024-2025 school year, Alec will be a senior at SHS and Ben will be a freshman. Alec plays French horn and mellophone and Ben plays trombone. My wife’s name is Natalie and we have been married for 21 years! I played French horn and mellophone at Grissom High School in Huntsville. I was also in Auburn’s marching band. Natalie was colorguard captain at Bob Jones High School in Madison, AL. We moved to Argo in 2006, where we still live today. This year is my third (and last) year as the Band Booster Vice President. I will continue to support the Springville Band to help it be the top-notch, successful band that it has always been. | Brandi Hill, Treasurer I have four kids that have been or will be in the “Mighty Band from Tigerland.” I was also in this band long before it was given that name, from 5th grade through my senior year. | Valerie Cosby, Concessions Director I am an Operational Support Specialist for Avadian Credit Union where I have worked for the last 11 years. I have two children, Ty and Ryne Cosby. Ty will be a junior this year and Ryne will be in 8th grade at SMS. Ty has been in band since 6th grade and currently plays the trumpet in the marching band. My husband of 18 years, Tim Cosby is a Terminal Operator for Circle K. I graduated in 2005 from Victory Christian and Tim, a Springville alumni, graduated in 2002. Our hobbies include supporting our kids and helping them live their best lives. We are either at a ball game or ball practice. When we are not chauffeuring our kids between fields, we enjoy hanging out on our farm with our chickens, goats, cats, dogs, and pig. I look forward to helping the band be the best it can be!
